Beulah Cemetery News and Progress

We are very delighted and proud that our young people of Vicksburg are doing a community service for Beulah Cemetery, an African American Historical Site. Joe Johnston, Hinds Community College instructor, and his students have done a wonderful job in restoring a treasure that has been on the ground for over sixty years. Mr. Sims who was the manager of Beulah's grounds and passed away last year at this time would have been pleased. This was his dream to restore and put up the archway again.
